I had alot of fun at the NWS in Spokane. I met alot of meteorologists, including the Warning Coordination Meteorologist and the Meteorologist in charge. I recorded videos of the balloons launching at 11am and at 4pm and a meteorologist showing me how forecasts are made and how EAS alerts are broadcasted. The NWS has a test transmitter that does not go outside of the NWS and I got to broadcast a test message on the test transmitter. I also was introduced to the Ham Radio. Training is $15 and you will be able to have a life-long license (can be any age). -Blackstar
