Hey, I am Blackstar, the creator of this page. Here is the story of my early life and how I came to love weather.
I was born September 26, 1997 in Moses Lake, WA, where I currently live. I have loved weather earlier than I can remember. My cat who died in January 2011, Tiger was born on August 9, 2006 and in 2008 My cats, Patches and her sister Tinkerbell were born on April 5.In my later elementary years and early middle school years, I stopped liking weather and in July 2010, I started to love weather again ans this time more than I have ever liked it in the past. My cat Tinkerbell went missing on September 3, 2010 and we never found her, I got my WR-100 on my 13th birthday, later that month and I got my first EAS alert on October 6, 2010, a Child Abduction Emergency from a station I realized was screwed up. Two weeks later, I got a missed test and I got a second missed test in January and a missed Avalanche Warning in March. I started getting tests in Early April. I recorded my first non missed test on April 6, 2011 and on April 20, 2011, I set up my webcam for the first time and started recording every Wednesday from then, only missing 4 Wednesdays since. I got my WR-300 on May 1, 2011 and I got my first Severe Thunderstorm Warning from WWF56 on May 14, 2011 and missed a test the next day. I got my first KONA activated test the two days after the missed test, at 5:05 am. I got my first Practice Demo on May 30, 2011 and my second SVR the next day. I got my third SVR on June 22, 2011 and my first Pendleton NWS tests the next week. I got my 12-262 on June 30, 2011 but took it back the next day and traded it in for the 12-521 and got the 12-522 on July 10, 2011. I got my first WXL86 that month and my first RMT as well. I got my SVR with the warning tones on August 1, 2011 and my first Seattle NWS test on August 24, 2011. I got my WR-120 almost a month after my first Seattle test and I now plan on getting a Midland HH45VP2 in the near future. Got two 911 Teleophone Outage Emergencies on October 25-26, 2011 and another Child Abduction Emergency on October 31, 2011 then got the Emergency Action Notification test on November 9, 2011. The INWSPC was established on September 25, 2011.
